What’s coming up in 2026

A few new ways to gather, breathe, read, and possibly spill your tea.

Monthly Meditation Meet Ups

colourful circle containing decreasing circles in calm colour tones

Starting January, fourth Saturdays, 10 to 12 noon. Pay what you want. Bring yourself, maybe a blanket, and absolutely no expectation to become a meditation guru overnight.

We will sit, breathe, notice what is going on in our heads and bodies, and maybe laugh at how impossible stillness can be. Beginners, old hands, anyone who fancies it are welcome.

Spaces are tiny with a maximum of eight people so if you fancy it, book ahead.

Monthly Book Club

From February we are reading, chatting, and possibly debating over a drink or two. First meet up is Wednesday 4 February, 7 to 9pm. First book is Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk. Expect mystery, dark humour, and conversation that might wander in surprising directions.

Donation or contribution is welcomed. Refreshments are provided. Spaces are limited to eight because big crowds are overrated.

Come as you are

Both gatherings are low fuss, friendly, and just enough structure to keep things moving without feeling like school. Come for the stillness, the chat, the biscuits, or just to see what happens.
